Gigs on Thursday 5th and Friday 6th
I’ll (or one of us will) write something more properer about this soon, but we played a couple of gigs at the end of TT week. Thursday was without Martin “Rocklord” Rigby, who had given us the rock and roll excuse of wanting an early night. We did about 6 songs - I think the set was Better Smile For Fear Of Crying, Leonard Cohen (a new one!), Almost Home, We Will Call It This Song (another new one!), Tulips and These Days. It went reasonably well, despite Phil’s guitar being stupidly loud.
Friday was Earlefest VII, again I can’t remember the set exactly, but it started with Almost Home, featured Song For The Small Headed Girl, and finished with Leonard Cohen. It was lots of fun and the crowd seemed to enjoy it, so hopefully we’ll be hitting some other venues soon.
TTFN!

Oy! My guitar might have been loud, but it wasn’t…um…it might have been stupid but it wasn’t…um…er…
Friday was ace, though!
Even if I did start Leonard Cohen in double-time this ensuring fuck-uppage of Mikie’s bass line and that. My Marshall pedal died halfway through a song, though. very odd. And I’d only stuck it to the pedalboard a week earlier!
We certainly will be hitting other venues, though. ASA-bloody-P.
Here come the weird.
